Trifoliate orange - The only member of the citrus family that will grow outdoors this far north. Unlike other citrus, it loses its leaves, leaving its green and twisty branches to grace the landscape in winter. The fruit is sour and seedy but can be used like a lemon. Interesting twisted, dwarfing habit with thorns. Makes a great living fence. Grows to 7'.
